According to Ayurveda if you are feeling heavy, overweight, slow, sluggish or lethargic the best dietary options would be to –
Avoid fatty, salty, deep fried, sweet, cold or frozen food & drinks, oversleeping, overeating, eating late at night, cold, damp wet weather, lethargic lifestyle.
Favour bitter, pungent, astringent tastes. Routine for meals & lifestyle. Warm nourishing light foods, fruits, vegetables & legumes, vigorous regular exercise, less sleep, no napping, active lifestyle in a warm, dry environment.
