Vata needs cooked food, moderately warming spices, soups, hot beverages, and warming foods like meat. Vata should avoid salads in winter, even salads in general.

Avoid cool, raw food & drinks, reduce high intensity exercise, excessive travel or irregular lifestyle with a lack of routine, skipping meals & late nights.

Favour sweet, sour & salty tastes. Warm nourishing food & drinks, keep hydrated, routine lifestyle & eating 3 meals at a similar time each day, meditation, low impact exercise, warm environment, bed before 10pm.
